Question: I have pain in upper abdomen right in the centre. Gas formation.
Less painful when I lay on my sides. Pain is not continous but come and goes. No constipation or otherwise. Please advise.

Hi.
Read your Medical history of taking Rekool 20, pankreoflat, anafrtan and ulgel. I was just wondering that you are a diagnosed case of pancreatitis.
You may be getting the central abdominal pain due to pancreatitis.
The pain which comes and goes - a spasmodic in nature can be due to a problem with the pancreatic duct- either strictures or stones. They can very well be treated now-a-days with endoscopic stenting.
I hope you have already gone through the MRCP ( Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography ), ERCP for a proper diagnosis of the condition to guide the Doctor for a proper treatment plan. If not yet done , request your Gastroenterologist to get these done
Please continue treatment as you are already on.
Have a soft bland diet, low fat, high fiber contents; I hope you do not take alcohol.
Avoid all the factors which increase your pain.
Take anafortan only when the pain is unbearable s that it will be

HI.
The diet plan will be according to the response of your body to the foods you are taking, help you are getting with Pancreoflat and consistency and contents of stool.
Whatever you feel is not digested should be avoided, Fat in particular.
Pancreoflat should be taken WITH food, and doses to be adjusted from 1 to 2 tablets with food as per needed. You can try Creon also to see which tablet is helping you the most.
