What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain In Right Side?

Question: I've been having upper abdominal cramping/spasms for many months on the right side. My Dr palpated my upper right side and is considering a possible dx of gallbladder disease. It was quite painful when she was examining me. Now my left side mid-abdomen is starting to cramp as well. It feels like a pulled muscle but goes away within a few minutes. I have no nausea or vomiting or fever and no weight loss or gain. Any ideas?
