Brief Answer:
Please give details .

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I can understand the plight you are going through.

Please tell me more:
-What is the type of pain ? Is it burning / twisting / pricking / throbbing ?
-Have you undergone Upper GI Endoscopy ?
-What is the problem you are facing in sleeping / eating ?
-What are the factors that increase or reduce the pain?
-What is the treatment you have been given till now, please write the names of medicines with contents.
-Is the pain under the skin in mid-line or deep within ?

This may possibly be due to acid peptic disease such as gastritis, and / or esophagitis / GERD means gastro-esophageal reflux disease.

I would advise the following:
I would advise the following in such a patient:
Ranitidine or PPI 12 hourly, I think you are already been prescribed...
Pepcid every 3 to 4 hours when on empty stomach.
Add Domperidone or such motility regulators.
Soft bland diet.
No aerated colas / soda/ drinks.
Early dinner. No late nights.
Treatment for anxiety (as prescribed / needs a prescription by your Doctor)
Lying in a reclining position
Walk around after dinner.
Think of the factors which increased the present problem, GERD, anxiety and try to avoid.
If no relief, get Upper GI endoscopy done and get prescription for added Medicines.
EKG for the heart on a safer side to rule out cardiac problems.
This helps all my patients and should help you hopefully.

Please feel free to give the answers and ask for more...
