What Causes Urinary Incontinence After A Hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy about 3 years ago with no complications. Suddenly, about 2 months ago, when I barely cough during the night in bed, my bladder empties almost completely and I can't stop the rapid flow at all.
Please help.
You have SIU Need to Consult qualified Urologist for assessment .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query ,You have developed Stress Incontinence of Urine (SIU)
The incontinence of urine that you have developed 2 months after surgery of Hysterectomy is due to weakness of pelvic floor muscles which normally maintains the angle of urethra in relation to bladder and helps to maintain continence of urine in females.
You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get following basic tests done to establish the grade of Stress Incontinence of Urine (SIU)that you have
1) Endoscopic Examination of Bladder to assess tone of Urethral Sphincter (Bony's Test)
2) Urine culture
3)Urodynamic study of bladder .
In the mean while start following treatment
1) Kegel's Exercise (You can surf details on internet) for 30 minutes twice daily
2) Tab Dratovarine twice daily
You may need to undergo surgery of Sling Operation ) or any other relevant surgical procedure which would be decided by an Urologist depending upon the severity of SIU and Urodynamic evaluation ,Urethral sphincter tone etc .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
