What Causes Urinary Incontinence?
It may be an urinary incontinence
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.
As per your history it may be an urinary incontinence and in menopausal women is caused from decreased contraction of pelvic muscles or floor.
Conservative treatments, which do not involve medication or surgery, are tried first.
These include:
1.Lifestyle changes
reducing your caffeine intake
altering how much fluid you drink a day
losing weight if you are overweight or obese
2.Pelvic floor muscle training
Your programme should include doing a minimum of eight muscle contractions at least three times a day and doing the recommended exercises for at least three months.
Electrical stimulation
3.Bladder training
Bladder training involves learning techniques to increase the length of time between feeling the need to urinate and passing urine. The course will usually last for at least six weeks.
After this, medication or surgery may be considered.
Hence have a contact with your GP to exclude firstly an urinary infection and to determine the reason of urinary incontinence.
