Brief Answer:
Urine pregnancy test
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, I understand your health concern.
I would like to know if you have any history of unprotected intercourse?
If yes then do a urine pregnancy test and see for the results.
But in case you have no such history then you need an ultrasound to see for endometrial thickness and ovaries.
Get the tests and then we can discuss the reports.
All the Best.

Hi XXXXXXX
I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. What possible complications could it be?

Brief Answer:
ultrasound and pap smear
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX good to hear that pregnancy test was negative.
Now take tablet tranexemic acid 500 mg thrice a day till bleeding stops completely, then visit a gynecologist for vaginal examination, pap smear and ultrasound.
Most probable cause is an endometrial polyp or a cervical ulcer.
But examination is a must.
I hope the discussion was useful but in case you have any questions I will be happy to help.

Thanks for clearing that up. I also want to let you know all the medications i have taken before, in case the reason could be that. I took plan B one step 2-3 months ago. I get severe cramps during my periods, for which I take Meftal spas on my first and second day. I have been taking Meftas spas for about 6 to 7 years. I have been taking a lot of Advil lately because of my migraine. The bleeding I have right now closely resembles my normal period, except the severe cramps.
If the reason could be any of this, please let me know. Thank you!
