Brief Answer:
Most likely to be a vaginitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

This could most likely be a vaginitis. Please get a vaginal and cervical swab. A speculum examination should be done to identify if any bleeding spots are present. A pap smear is taken to exclude infections, erosion and abnormal cells. You also need urinalysis to identify infection and if needed go for culture test to plan further management.

Similar symptoms may also be seen with STDs, but, they are more intense and involve systemic features also. You may also see rash and lymphadenopathy.

Please also get your sexual partner examined and get treated if necessary. Please maintain genital hygiene. Do not douche, do not use strong soap solutions over the soft parts and maintain proper genital hygiene. You may use mild antiseptic solutions. Do not use tampons during a period and use sanitary pads instead. Do not involve in sexual intercourse until completely healed.

Hope your query as been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
