Brief Answer:
You should see your doctor, get a scan.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Any amount of bleeding / spotting is not normal during pregnancy.
It is best to have an evaluation to see if there is any issue.
ARound 6 - 7 weeks, the heartbeat of the baby should be clearly seen on an ultrasound scan, so please get that done.
Also, at times, the bleeding might be normal, but more often, there is a high risk of miscarrying.
So it is best not to take chances, and to consult your OB - GYN.
Dont panic right away, but do not ignore the bleeding.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Do I need to go to a&e as today is Sunday or I may wait till tomorrow to see gp
Brief Answer:
Can wait if bleeding has stopped.
Detailed Answer:
A GP might not be able to do much, except refer you for a scan and OB.
If there is no further bleeding/ spotting, you can wait until tomorrow.
IF bleeding is persistent, go to the ER and atleast have a scan.
Take care.
