What Causes Vaginal Itching With Bumps On Vagina?
Question: I just developed an itchy area on the outside lip of my vagina. The area is red and seems to ooze a clear liquid. It's a cluster of small bumps. What could cause that?
Brief Answer:
PLEASE UPLOAD PHOTOS FOR A BETTER OPINION
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Can you please upload pictures ( photos ) of the lesions.
That would enable me to provide you with a definitive opinion.
There are various conditions that can cause such a scenario , it is pointless to list them, I would prefer to have a look and then offer a specific opinion.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
INFECTED SWEAT GLAND OR HAIR FOLLICLE.
Detailed Answer:
I did look at the photos.
Have you shaved recently ?
This looks very much like a sebaceous cyst or folliculitis.
In simple language, it is an infected hair follicle or sweat gland.
Give yourself two more days, it should heal itself, as it appears to have ruptured, and is already oozing liquid content.
Avoid handling or touching that area.
Maintain strict perineal hygiene.
Have protected sex to avoid superimposed infection.
Wear clean cotton undergarments and change frequently during the day.
Do not use soaps, clansers, douches or other products on the area.
You can apply local antibiotic ointment like Mupirocin or Betadine.
If it does not self heal, consult your doctor for a formal prescription of antibiotics.
Hope your blood sugars are well in control.
Do you have excessive fat deposition locally, that too precipitates it.
Take care.
