What Causes Vaginal Spotting During Pregnancy When Diagnosed With Gestational Diabetes?
Question: I m in 31+4 weeks of pregnancy. Reported for spotting on 24 XXXXXXX @29+3 days. I was admitted. Doctor gave me susten sr 300mg at bed time and injected me with steroids for maturity of baby's lungs. I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes and was on metmorfin. After hospitalisation my sugars are in range without metmorphin. Yesterday i experienced alot of itching through out body specially on palms and soles.
Doctor put me on udiliv 150 mg twice a day and cetrizine for liver 1 tab bed time. My concern is does it can lead to preterm labour or still birth. Can udiliv stretches the pregnancy for 5 weeks without any problem to baby.

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is common to have itching in these months of pregnancy because of accumulation of liver products due to pregnancy hormones.
Yes udiliv is effective and will help to prevent baby from the side effects of these liver generated waste products.
Just keep taking it as advised and take care of fetal movements and sugar levels.
If all is fine then nothing to worry.
Take care

In how many days should i repeat the test. When can i expect udiliv 150 mg to control the functioning of lever. And what if udiliv is not able to control it. What are the risks to unborn baby
Brief Answer:
Symptom relief is must
Detailed Answer:
Iseally it should be repeated every 15 days but in case there is relief in symptoms then generally no need to get the test.
We can increase the dose to maximum 300 mg three times a day too so mostly it can be managed.
But if still uncontrolled then it can cause preterm labour and death of the unborn child inside mother's body too.
So keep a close watch on baby movements.
All the best
