Brief Answer:
Getting an attack while driving could have grave consequences

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concerns. You probably suffered from a vasovagal syncope, a phenomenon that occurs when suddenly the blood flow to your brain falls, and you faint. Since you have got it once and since the probability of it recurring anytime remains, the doctors have been anxious. Your license has been revoked in anticipation that it could occur anytime while you are driving, and if such a thing occurs, it could have grave consequences.

I would insist you to get a tilt table test done. The test would enhance the triggers and check if you still get an attack. If you do not, you can get an EEG done to investigate further. If the test makes you get a syncope, then there is something called orthostatic training (I can give you the details once it is relevant) and your problem would get resolved. In such a case you can reapproach the doctors for reissue of your license.

Hope that helps.
