What Causes Dizziness Post Spinal Fusion?

After having a spinal fusion, a year later I started experiencing some dizziness and a fainting feeling. I never have fainted but I feel like my nervous system has been heightened and have become worried about everything. Could this be caused my scar tissue surrounding my spine?

Hi,

The dizziness may not be related to spinal fusion. Commonly it may happen due to war related dysfunction, stress and as a side effect to medications. Only rarely can it be arising because of spinal fusion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhishek Juneja, Neurologist
