What Causes Vertigo After Consuming Olive Oil?
I woke up the next day- yesterday - with vertigo. I didn't eat much all day ( about 1/2 cup boiled potato). Today it was still there, but not so bad. I've slept a lot- it is 4:00 and is a lot better.
How could eating a (big) bowl of popcorn and having about 1/4 cup of liquid olive oil cause vertigo?
What should I look out for in the future?
How soon can I eat regularly. All I have had yesterday and today is some boiled potato and a pear, and one non-glutin cookie.
Is there a general approach to vertigo? I mean as far as eating, sleeping, etc.
more liquid, fruits and sleep. Avoid oil/fat
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I went through the query and understood your concern.
The vertigo you are getting may be due to olive oil. This might have over burnt or not cooked properly. No need to worry much as there is no signs of infection and our body needs time to adjust on its own.
Take much of liquid diet with fruits and more bed rest. These will improve your condition. May be in 1 day or 2 day maximum you will be alright and can have regular food and routine activities.
Since the condition is improving you can have regular food (limited quantity) with more of water. Eat less fat /oil content food. If still this does not improve then needs general physical examination once to rule out any other problem.
I hope this information helps you and answered all your queries. Feel free to ask if any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.
Wish you faster recovery and very good health.
