Question : Hi,
My father is prescribed syndopa 125(initially 1/2 tab 3 times for 7 days then 1 tablets 3 times), pramipexole 0.375 (once a day) & rasalect 0.5 mg (once a day) for early parkinsonism. His age is 64 and having high BP and prostate enlarged right now. For BP he is prescribed Amlodipine 5 mg (twice a day), Rosuvastatin 10 mg (once a day). After 3 days dosing, he is having constipation and vertigo whole day. Need your opinion

advise to replace amlodipin with other drugs.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

As vertigo is common side effect of amlodipine and rosuvastastin.
So I would advise to consult to your treating doctor for replace these drugs with other group of anti hypertensive drugs.
Constipation is common with syndopa.
But for that I would advise to take high fibre diet, like green leafy vegetables and fruits.
Because constipation is common with anti parkinsons medicines.
