What Causes Viral Infection, Tooth Infection And Vocal Chord Problem?

Question: I am having strange throat problem with dryness along with cough formation.It's been started 2months back when i went for singing competition.When i visited doctor he said you have got viral infection & vocal chord problem & had been taking treatment ended 15days back .I got tooth infection as well few days back & took one of the medicine was anti-inflammatory to relieve pain i guess name is ENZOFLAM .After consuming medicines for 3-4 days thrice a day severely infected my throat with feeling of something get stuck in between & suffocating.It is all ok when i swallow things no problem is there in eating & drinking.Cough problem is also started few days back. I get " dry dhaska " KHANSI ' more often due to this .Please suggest me something & how can i overcome this medicine side effect or is it something elsee !

As per your clinical history it appears that you might having allergic post nasal discharge (PND) or acid reflux which causing throat problem , cough & dryness .

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you

Plenty of fluids , Steam Inhalation twice daily & Saline nasal spray thrice daily ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination in night,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily &
Tab Esomeprazole 40mg once in morning .

You can discuss this with your treating doctor.

Thank you doctor but there is nothing related to nasal discharge, nasal r all ok ,nothing to do with that,have got dryness in throat,due to which not able to speak continuosly ,obstruction in between in form of KHANSI. suffocating feel covering entire throat , like somebody pressing my neck.I feel good when i eat or drink something,else get same problem.I am fed uo of this problem.Kindly suggest !

I would advice you to do investigation like Videolaryngoscopy to see your throat & larynx.

Till the investigation is done, I would advice you
