
What Causes Visible Mucus In Stool?

Question: Hi, this stool is what is coming out of my son who has a Autism diagnoses ..I am giving him oral acid caprilic and Suppositories with coconut oil, garlic, and 2 drops of oregano oil. His stools are coming out with this mucus..his lab test show flora disbiosis and candida overgrow...do you think i need test this samples to know exactly what kind of infection he has?
He is improving amazingly in his speech and everything else, so obviously this bio film on his stool is what was making him very sick..any advice?

I have checked the attached image. The image is self explanatory and you need not attach further images. Candida is a fungus that grows when the immunity of the person is low. Hence that is the source of his problems. I do not think that you need to reexamine the stool. Proper and regular activity along with healthy diet is all he needs. Give him ORS (oral rehydration solution) in case he has increased bowel movements. Nothing specific needs to be done otherwise.
