Brief Answer:
what does usg abdomen says?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I went through all the reports and your query.
From all the picture it looks like you have obstructive jaundice or conjugated hyperbilirubinemia as majority of bilirubin is direct.
Most common cause for this is obstruction in bile flow due to gall stone or some pancreatic inflammation.
So a ultrasound abdomen will be very useful.
Have you got done an ultrasound? If yes can you share the report with me?
Awaiting your answer.
thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for following up with me and uploading the new reports.
As per the reports you have attached, its clear that you have hepatitis E infection. It spreads by feco-oral route by drinking contaminated water.
Its a viral infection hence it will take its own time to get clear. It takes around 21-28 days to get clear. Till then the treatment is symptomatic.
Whatever treatment you are taking it comprises of antiemetic, liver protective meds and multivitamins.
They are all supportive meds and are not exactly acting against the infection.
So, answers to your questions will be-
1. There is no definite treatment for Hep E infection. Whatever meds you are taking, please continue taking them.
2. It will take 1 month from the day you got jaundice first time. This is approximate number of days. It can take anywhere from 21 days to 1 month.
3. Precautions- avoid oily food totally as liver is not in condition to secrete bile for its digestion and hence nausea or vomiting can occur . No spicy foods for same reason. Eat as much bland and hot food you can eat. Soups preferable.
I hope with these advices you will be better after said time. Have patience as this infection will take time to get out of system.
If you have any more questions kindly ask me back will be happy to answer them.
Thank you
