What Causes Vomiting, Diarrhea And Abdominal Pain After Eating Junk Food?

Question: Hi .. 3 days ago i had vomiting after eating bad spicy burger ( in about 10 hours) and the next day i had watery diarrhea with abdominal pain like cramps .. Now the vomiting and diarrhea stopped but still i feel pain in my stomach and the food is undigested , bloating, gassy, there is some pain in my lower stomach and general weakness ... I am not sure if is that gastritis or gastroenteritis ??
I already took ambrazole and i did CBC , LFT and RFT 2 weeks ago and they were normal.
Please advice me what to do next because i am trying to avoid endoscopy as possible
thank you
Brief Answer:
Possible food poisoning gastroenteritis...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
What you are experiencing is gastroenteritis induced by eating bad spicy burger (possibly food poisoning).
It is good that you have vomited all the bad burger. The gastro-intestinal disturbances you are feeling will get better within a few days.
There is no need to do endoscopy for this time.
I advise:
- drink plenty of water
- take otc probiotics
- have light meals (curd, plain yogurt, soups)
- avoid spicy, chilly, oily foods

Glad to know I was of help!
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Glad to know I was of help.
The "recotan" tablet you use refers to "clotan" (tolfenamic acid) to my knowledge.
Yes, it will reduce inflammation as it's included in the drug group of non-steroidal-antiinflammatory-drugs.
