Question: yes my daughter went on a 40 day fast for spiritual reasons, and I had to take her to the hospital, they told me she has acute pancreaitis, shes home now, but she still can't keep anything down, and I saw blood when she vomited, is that from the pancreas?

I am sorry for the situation your daughter is in.

Pancreatitis is not associated with blood in vomit. Blood is sign of a possible penetrative stomach ulcer that can cause pancreatitis. This is a life threatening complication of stomach ulcer which need an emergent evaluation and treatment.

So my advice is that you should send her to ER as she need immediate evaluation and treatment.
