Brief Answer:
Duofilm: method of application and guidance for same.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome again to the forum and thanks for your prompt follow up with important detail of the wart remover.
After analyzing the picture and correlating with time period since you are applying it is quite obvious from the picture that wart is not removed completely.
As I can see that the wart is quite large sized and it is not practically possible for the Duofilm wart remover lotion to simply get removed.
In your kind of cases I generally prefer to remove the wart by a simple method of Radiofrequency which removes eh wart in just few seconds.
In your kind of cases a simple application of duofilm is not able to remove the wart completely. This is due to crust over the wart which makes it practically impossible to penetrate into the root of the wart.
So removal of the dead skin in form of crust is quite essential.
In my patients with your kind of problem I suggest them to soften the area. It is done with a cotton soaked in warm water and applied over the wart area for 5 minutes. This softens the wart area and removes the crust. Therefore on application of the duofilm, it gets penetrated easily and reaches to roots to have full effect.
I also suggest my patients to cover the area by band-aid for around 30 minutes of application. This helps in better absorption and early removal.
In case if you feel any pain or tenderness then should immediately stop the application.
I hope this information will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.
"Wish you good health and early recovery from the problem"
