What Causes Water Retention In Hips, Lower Legs And Swelling In Thighs?
Question: Water retention for two months in hips and lower legs. Very swollen. Using diaretic works well but still retaining. Weeping in legs and inner thighs, running down legs and on to floor. How do I get rid of fluid and swelling?

- Blood work including BUN and creatinine levels for renal failure.
- Cardiac echo
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Reduce salt intake

- Use regularly diuretics.
