What Causes Watery Stool And Frequent Bowel Movement?

Question: I have serious stomach disorder since yesterday.my motions are watery and I have passed stool almost 20 times in the last 36 hours.
I am continously taking ORS.
please advise how to improve the situation.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern very well.
Generally most of the diarrheas are caused by virus infection for which no antibiotics are required and they tend to become all right in 36 to 48 hours.
He only thing you have to do is to keep taking plenty of fluids by way of ORS,lemon water,coconut water etc.
Since there is no vomiting,there is no need of any intravenous fluids.
Take some probiotic like VIZYLAC or BIFILAC twice a day.
Diarrhea tend to wash the toxins from your intestines and so you are gradually becoming all right.In case you don't find improvement in next 36 hours,you can go the ER for further management.
