![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Is there a concern when a healthy 18 year old doesn't totally feel his urine steam and has a weak stream. There are no other symptoms including no pain or bleeding or discharge. He is 6 feet one inch and about 160 pounds. He has no health issues and is not on other medication. This has been going on for about a month.
Brief Answer:
uro dynamic studies
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
Thank you for consulting Health care magic. The symptom you have mentioned doesn't signify anything specifically and i don't think there is any big issue. However as this is the only symptom he has, i advice him to undergo uroflometry/uro dynamic studies . This would confirm whether there is any problem or not.
Hope it helps.
Thanks.

He did see a doctor who performed an exam and urinalysis and saw nothing out of the ordinary. He has an appointment with a urologist today but I was wondering what it could be and whether you think it's a possible cancer or other serious condition?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Brief Answer:
NO its not cancer
Detailed Answer:
No, it cannot be any cancer or any other serious condition.
How ever as i mentioned earlier uroflometry/uro dynamic studies are needed for him to diagnose the problem.
Thanks.

Urologist indicated it was most likely psychological but didn't perform any tests other than test urine. He wants a f/up in a month and will do more testing as needed and prescribed Viagra in the interim. Are psychological issues common and how long is the average time for functions to return to normal?
Brief Answer:
Confirmation of diagnosis
Detailed Answer:
Yes, even psychological issues are a possibility but are not very common.
Confirmation of diagnosis is needed to predict time of function to return to normal
Thanks!
