What Causes Weakness And Fatigue?

Question: My wife feels weakness and tired almost all day from past almost one year. She is taking Homeopathy medicine for same which seems of a little benefit but not resolving the problem all together. Initial test that we had, showed the loss of Vitamin D in body which was causing these issues. NOW from last 3 weeks she is not able to get good sleep too, I believe this can also be related to some blood issue. We are sure that this is not because of some mental pressure or hard work. Please suggest the next course of action OR any specialized doctor to contact for this.

I appreciate your concern about your wife.

Since she is suffering from one year she needs to be evaluated. I would suggest you few investigation like complete blood picture,thyroid profile( to rule out hypo or hyperthyroidism),Vitamin B12 and serum electrolytes(sodium,potassium, calcium and phosphorous),blood sugar. I would suggest you visit an Internal medicine specialist doctor at near by super specialty hospital where you can get all these tests done.
If she is having any menstrual related problem then visit a gynecologist.

Mean time I would suggest her drink plenty of fluids and eat food in small amounts more times.She should eat healthy vegetables and fruits.
