What Causes Weakness And Tingling Sensation On Limbs?
Question: I have been having tingling/weakness in my limbs mainly left side for a few weeks now. It occurs mainly at night and my hands and feet fall asleep with out laying on them. I thought this might have something to do with Lupus but talked to my Rheumatologist today and she didn't think so. i have made an appointment with a Neurologist, Any suggestions on what might be going on?

It doesn't look like an issue related to Lupus, however, lupus can cause neuropathy but the presentation is not like you are explaining.
This kind of tingling and weakness can occur as a result of :
1. Vitamin B12 Deficiency
2. Anxiety
3. Cervical Nerve compression due to wrong posture
4. Hypothyroidism.
I would recommend in such case for you to get your thyroid profile, Vitamin B12 Levels, as well as Nerve conduction velocity testing, that would help us with the investigations and diagnosis.
