
What Causes Weight Gain After Taking Epox 4000iu Shots?

Question: After taking EPOX 4000 i.u. 3 times a week.
He is gained energy,
Now question is :-
1) Will EPOX increase the Creatinine along with the Hemoglobin?
2) Any restriction on below food?
a) Onion
b) grams
c) matar (for preparing matar ghugni)
3) Shall we try some herbal products like gokkhura & kulthi. Keeping it in water for one night & drink the water next morning?
I know you cant prescribe these cures. But atleast can guide a bit as suggession.

Epox is nothing but Erythopoetin which is given to increase the Hemoglobin levels in the body.
Now to answer your questions
1. Epox will not cause increase in Creat
2. There is no restriction on any vegetarian diet. However I suggest him to avoid animal meat, fruit juices and tender coconut avoid. Fruits that can be eaten are papaya, apple, pineapple and guava in moderation.
3. Salt and fluid restriction is the most important. I usually tell my patients to avoid salt and fluid restriction to less than a litre per day
