What Causes White Discoloration On Penis?
Question: I have a few flat brown spots on the shaft of my penis as well as some whitening discoloration. I noticed a brown spot a few months ago and just thought it was a mole. But more brown spots have appeared and the whitening discoloration seems to be spreading. I've been with the same partner for over a year and we both got tested are both clean. What could this be?

I have analyzed your details and it seems that you are having more than one problem which might need an approach in such a way that both can be tackled simultaneously.
The brown spots that you have refrerred to, seem to be most likely due to a viral condition known as warts and as mentioned by you these spots tend to increase with time. Generally such spots produce no symptoms and tend to look like moles especially when thse appear on the outer skin covering of the male organ. These are not always attributable to sexual contact and therefore, it is likely that your partner will be found to have no skin disease.
It would be perfect if you can share some pics of the lesions and also let me know as to what tests have been performed. It is preferable if you can append the test reports.
The whitish spots might have been caused by an earlier infection or another skin problem that has healed including due to spontaneous recovery of warts.
In the meantime, please adopt the following approach;

However, I still want to give youa few tips which will stand you in good stead
1 To maintain good hygiene, means, daily cleaning of the part with plain water, just be pulling back the foreskin followed by cleaning and drying before you replace the skin.
2 Avoidance of chemicals, deos, or lubricants in the area.
3 Use of a condom for the intimate moments
4 Observation for any adverse or suspicious looking development.
