I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query.
I would like to know more from you regarding the bump.
-How long its been there?
-What's the size? Is it movable when you try to maneuver it Or is it Fixed?
-Can you upload a clear digital photograph of the Lesion/Bump, so that I may be able to guide you better?

Hello, it does not move it is fixed. It seems to be just under the size of a pencil eraser. I will try to upload it just not sure how. The picture is blurry but that is the best I can do taking it myself. It seems to be more pinkish today.
Brief Answer:
Possibly is a Pilomatricoma OR Cylindroma
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for the additional information but I would have preferred a better Image. May you can try and post another one
Anyways, judging from what it looks like, I would keep a possibility of either a Pilomatricoma which is a benign tumour of hair matrix cells OR a Solitary Cylindroma.
A Pilomatricoma usually presents as a solitary, slow growing, asymptomatic, superficial/deeply seated, firm to rock hard mass ranging in size from 0.5-5 cm in diameter.
A cylindroma usually presents as a firm, rubbery nodules with pink, red, or sometimes blue coloring that range in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters. It is eccrine in origin. Multiple cylindromas can occur on the scalp
Excision Biopsy is the treatment of choice and would also confirm clinical diagnosis.
