default
Posted on Mon, 23 Feb 2015
Question: little problem where the insides of my cheeks are completely covered in white, dead skin that I can simply scrape out big chunks with my finger.. this has been noticeable for the past 2-3 years now..(23 year old male) doesn't hurt but to say its annoying, and inconvenient would be an understatement ! the picture I have attached shows a very clean, and clear day for my cheeks! thanks in advance, doctor.

Brief Answer:
White patch for evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query.
In my opinion, white patch in the oral cavity can be because of many reasons, like lichen, oral submucosal fibrosis or oral thrush, stress, bad oral hygiene.
I saw your images. It's not clear.
This needs clinically evaluation and treatment.
I would suggest you to consult with the doctor and get evaluated. There is no over the counter drugs for this. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
