What Causes White Patches On Skin All Over Body?
Question: When I was 12 years old, the lower chin in my face(Below mouth) started turning white in colour. It spreaded towards my left lower chin within few weeks and it got arrested there until I met doctor consultation.
After medications, now I have very few white patches in the skin. Just curious to know methods for curing it.
One other major question that I have is the beard is growing in white color only in that area. Any possibility of turning that to natural black color. Please advise.

Hello
Thanks for the follow up and photographs.
You have developed vitiligo.
I can see most of the affected area is repigmenting now.
You can use melgain lotion in night and tacrolimus ointment in day.
This will help in faster recovery.
Its very difficult for the hair to regain color however you can try melgain.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you

Thanks Rahul!
I will apply the lotion and ointment you have mentioned.
I just have the following questions.
1. Will these lotions make the skin more darker than natural black color? Should I use these lotions all over the affected area in the past or I should limit it to only the white spots that I have now.
2. What's your thoughts on plastic surgery for this.
