What Causes White Patches On Tongue?
Candidiasis/ Intertrigo
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand from your query that you are having multiple issues. Let me address them one by one.
1. The white patches on your tongue could be due to oral candidiasis. It is an infection by a yeast called candida. It usually occurs after a prolonged course of antibiotics / diabetes/ immunocompromised state. You could treat it with a antifungal paint containing 1 % Clotrimazole applied twice a day after food for 2 weeks.
2. Are your stomach ailments of recent onset or have you had this for many months?
Are you on medications for any other problem? Please clarify.
3. The itching on your genital area could be due to intertrigo ( due to friction) or due to a fungal infection. You could use an antifungal dusting powder containing 1 % Clotrimazole and dust it on the genital skin twice a day. Keep the area dry as sweating and moisture could increase the fungal growth.
4. Could you upload a picture of the rash or bumps which you have on your arms so that I can assess better?
You have a feature to upload the images by yourself at the right side of the query page, please utilize that so that I can answer your query better. You can also send the image as attachment to YYYY@YYYY , with the subject as 'Attn: Dr. Johny Chacko'.

Could be due to antibiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Since you have a history of taking a broad spectrum antibiotic like amoxycillin, your symptoms could be due to the medication.
Amoxycillin can cause gastritis. You could try taking an antacid like Ranitidine 150 mg before meals for 2 weeks. You could also take a probiotic available at your local pharmacy. If your symptoms persist even after this, I suggest you to consult a GP and get a work up done to rule out any liver disorder, which could also have such dyspeptic symptoms.
Amoxycillin can also contribute to the tongue changes which you are seeing which I feel could be due to candidiasis. You could follow the same suggestions which I have mentioned in my previous answer.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.

Dr. Johny Chacko
