What Causes White Spots Around The Vagina?
Question: Recently I've been having problems with my vagina. There's white spots or tiny white bumps on the opening of my vagina. They don't hurt or itch. And I don't burn when I pee. And I don't have abnormal discharge but they have caused me discomfort on and off. And sex is painful so I haven't had sex since 2 days ago that I noticed them. And also there's wax like particles that keeps showing up in between my vagina lips. Their very small, brown, and wax feeling. There's also no odor or bumps anywhere else on my vagina. What could this be?
Brief Answer:
likely candida infection or vaginal warts
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM for an opinion,
Considering these are white bumps seen to have appeared after sex and is non itchy yet and non painful, so herpes is unlikely but candida infection is likely or vaginal warts.
it would be helpful if you can attach a picture of the lesions for a better diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
That is typical vaginal candidiasis. you need to be started on anti-fungals both orally and pessaries for a week. There is presence of vaginitis as well. After 3 days of treatment a short course of antibiotics would also be needed. You may meet your PCP for the prescription.
