Hello.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I read carefully your query and I can understand your concern.
Yeast infections are very common in people with adrenal insufficiency.
Since Pau D-Arco is a natural ,herbal treatment for a yeast infection ,I would suggest to try it first. If you don't see any improvement at all in 1-2 weeks, you will need an antifungal treatment (oral or topical depending on the severity of the infection ).In this case you should consult a physician for proper evaluation and treatment.
Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any question.
Kind regards,

I am not supposed to be taking hydrocortisone if I have a yeast or fungal infection in my body. Do I stop taking it or what do I do. I understand rapid withdrawal is not recommended.

Hello again.
You should continue taking Hydrocortisone and you need an antifungal treatment to treat the fungal infection. If the symptoms of the fungal infection are mild ,you can try the herbal medication. If the symptoms doesn't improve in 1-2 weeks ,you will need antifungal medication.
You should discuss it with your treating physician before doing any changes in Hydrocortisone.
