What Causes Yellow Eyes And Swelling In The Ankles?
Question: my brother has these symptoms
symptoms
his eyesight is getting worse and worse he is complaining that he can barely see eye doctors arent sure whats up (or at least that what he says)
his eyes are yellow
his stomach is huge especially when compared to the rest of body
he had herpes looking sores on his arms
he has bags under his eyes that are swollen ( he says allergies and may be)
now his ankles are very swollen

Based on your comments, this is my observation---
I think your brother has generalised fluid accumulation (edema).
This is what is leading to blurring of vision.
Yellow eyes are due to jaundice.
Sores are probably infective.
Bags under eyes are also due to edema.
Ankles swollen also due to edema.
Conclusion---generalised edema and other symptoms most probably due to liver failure (Cirrhosis).
