What Causes Yellow Or Clear Discharge After Removal Of Fallopian Tube?

Question: I had an ectopic pregnancy where they surgically removed my left tube a month and two weeks ago. since then I have had constant migraines and I had my first period after surgery. it was a normal period but since it has stopped I've had a lot of discharge it was yellow at first and is now clear and its soaking my panty liners. is this normal after what I had done?
Brief Answer:
Normal finding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The yellow discharge if it is not associated with any foul smell or itching is not worrisome. It is not indicative of any infection. This can happen for a few days after the period is over. You can wait for the discharge to subside spontaneously.
In case there is a foul smell associated with the discharge then you need to consult your gynecologist for a vaginal swab culture.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

what about the headaches I've had constant migraines as well
Brief Answer:
Not related to surgery.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The migraine headache is not due to the surgery. It can be triggered by decreased fluid intake change in dietary habits or stress. Rule out the triggering factors and consult your physician for prescription medicines.
