Brief Answer:
Could be due to improper digestion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your shredded wheat appearance stool is most likely due to improper digestion.

Have you taken any high fibre or cellulose containing food? In such case also this type of stools can appear. It can also be an expelling of dead parasites. In case of malabsorption syndrome like giardiasis also this type of stools can occur.

Do you had any repeated episodes of such stool?
Can you list out the food items you had before?
Are you taking any kind of medicines?

A routine stool analysis should be done in such case.

In case, if positive for worms, worm eradication should be carried out. For malabsorption syndrome due to giardiasis I usually prescribe tinidazole therapy.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing unclear.
Thanks
