Brief Answer:
Hi and welcome to XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
In most cases this is not something serious and this is called Benign paroxysmal vertigo which is commonly seen and often clears up without treatment after several weeks
you should not be worried if she doesnt have associated heart symptoms(palpitations,
chest pain,
shoulder pain, dyspnea or fatigue) or other neurologic symptoms( headache, loss of sensation, speech ability etc.).
If she has some of these symptoms, she should visit doctor as soon as she can.
Otherwise, this is not something serious and she should see
neurologist for further routine diagnostic tests( ct head, eeg).
Till that, she should drink plenty of fluids to avoid
hypotension, avoid rapid position changes, avoid any drugs which may provoke
dizziness, avoid noise and intensive lights. She may take low dose benzodiazepines in consultation with her GP.
Wish you good health.Feel free to ask. Regards
