![default](/r/images/default.png)
Brief Answer:
Clinical correlation needed
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The liver enzymes are raised and call for further correlation. I need to ask if you are an alcoholic. If yes, that could explain. If not, the next thing to ask is whether you have diabetes. I would insist you to get your blood sugar (fasting) as well as blood pressure checked. I would also need to ask if you are on any regular medicines. For example stations could lead to elevation of liver enzymes.
Let me know the details and I could help further.

Thank you doctor.
I have just finished chemotherapy (8 weeks ago) and I m on anti-depressants. Can this situation be turned aroud ?
No, I am not an alcoholic. When I drink, it is 1/2 glass of wine with 1/2 soda water ? No more than 3.5 glasses per week.

Brief Answer:
Dose adjustment might be needed
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
Your finishing off the chemotherapy and being on antidepressants explains the elevation in liver enzymes. You need to discuss with your treating physician whether he wants to adjust doses of existing medicines.
