What Do Bleeding Finger Nails Indicate While On Tenex, Gabapentin And Vistaril?
Question: Hi I am a recovering oxycodone user for 8 yrs, I have developed bleeding finger nails,their falling off & throb, My ankles & legs are swelling & I have terrible pain in them,My skin hurts & I have rash spots. I keep falling & have banged up my face, head,& bruises on my body,They have done a cat scan of my head,doppler on my legs,and blood work for tick borne diseases. I have been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder, fear of life, anxiety disorder, No one can figure out what's wrong with me. I currently am on Tenex, Gabipentin, Visteril,Celexa & Melatonin. My anxiety if off the wall & I am in so much pain! They believe it may be an auto immune. Meanwhile I can't stand it!

First, a sedimentation rate and CBC and C reactive protein will show inflammation. Then where the inflammation is coming from is the question. We see this a lot with chronic viral infection almost always a not very mysterious virus (hepatitis C or HIV, rarely hepatitis B). Can be lupus or auto immune disease attacking somewhere.
This is relatively easy, you get the spot that is inflamed and you see under a microscope what is being inflamed. Seeing protein deposits or cells going into the area show different patterns of inflammation. The inflammation can also show particular areas which are being attacked. Vessels for example. This would cause vessel and circulation problems.
