What Do Blisters On Head Indicate?

Question: HI
Doctor last week i posted a below query to you

I have been observing Blisters or Sore kind of small things all over my head
Some have puss also in them..some or broken and the area is red..maybe bcz of comb they are broken

I do have dandruff too

Please explain what are these and suggest the treatment

YOU TOLD THESE TO USE

ou can get the following brand names:
Fluconazole - Tab. ZOCON 150
Doxycycline - Cap. DOXY-1
Mometasone lotion- MOMATE lotion
Sertaconazole (Will be better than Terbinafine !) - ONABET lotion
Clindamycin lotion - CLINDAC-A solution
Ketoconazole shampoo - KZ lotion ( Shampoo)

Regular use of shampoo twice a week will prevent recurrence upto great extent.

Hello,
Thank you for writing back to me.

The prescription you have been prescribed seems to be okay but its way too much expensive for the condition. Personally I would not prefer that prescription.
Minoz-OD is minocycline, its a very good and effective antibiotic but I would want to preserve it for back-up if the doxycycline doesnot work, which in your case I think simple doxycycline is good enough.

Thus, I would like to stick to my old prescription with few changes i.e

Fluconazole - Tab. ZOCON 150 on two consecutive days a week( e.g Every Mon and Tuesday)

Doxycycline - Cap. DOXY-1 twice a day

Mometasone lotion- MOMATE lotion
Sertaconazole - ONABET lotion
Clindamycin lotion - CLINDAC-A solution

Mix all the three lotion in equal quantity and apply gently over scalp twice a day.

Instead of KZ shampoo, I would like to change it to Betadine-AD shampoo to be used alternate day.

I think in 15 days you will be much better.

How long i need to continue this medicated shampoos?
Also i have observed that..my hair fall is increased very much..will the above suggested medication help to contain that too?

Hello,
The increased hair fall is due to the condition itself. once your condition is resolved your hairfall will also decrease.
Additionally for hairfall, I would like you to take some biotin rich tablets like Follihair New once daily for few months.
I would like you to report back after you have used the medications for atleast 2 weeks.
