What Do Bumps On Lips Indicate?

Question: can you tell me what those tiny skin colored bumps are? I get them all the time and they come and go periodically. there is no real discomfort but I can feel them with my toung when I lick my lips. they
are really annoying?

I am herpes type 1 pos. could it have something to do with that maybe?

Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached pictures .
You seem to have developed fox fordyce spots .
Now these are basically swelling of the skin glands which tend to occur in certain people . But these are essentially harmless in nature and they just come and go .
Sone people are just predisposed to develop these lesions again and again .
Nothing much can be done to stop these from occurring .
At the same time ,these are not infectious and have no relation with herpes .
So don't worry ,just apply plenty of lip moisturisers .These will stop developing with time .
