Question: I have had clusters of little white bumps in he corners of my mouth where my lips meet for years. I seem to be getting more and now I have some on the inside of my bottom lip and 2 on the outside of my top lip. My lips are always chapped. Any idea what this could be.?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
I have seen the images attached. From what I could see, these could probably be ectopic sebaceous glands or Fordyce spots.
No treatment is needed for the same. However if required CO2 lasers or electrocautery is advised.
As for your chapped lips, you may follow these suggestions
Drink adequate water everyday
Avoid frequent licking of lips
Use a good quality lip balm with sun protection factor, multiple times in a day
Use a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone to reduce dryness over lips.
Take a multivitamin supplement for few days.

Hope this helped.
Take care
