What Do Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Report Indicate?

I am XXXX from Deloitte. I got married last month and my wife missed the period on this month. it's been 4 days from schedule time of period. it's matter of concern or what we need to do. she did pagnecency test day before yesterday and it came negative.
Please suggest.

yes, she had regular cycle so far.

No, we did not use any contraception. But, I have never inject any while intercourse

4th Aug 2015
Does she have a history of irregular / delayed periods ?
No, may be one or two delayed periods But not in recent past.
What is her height and weight ?
Height: 5.2, weight: 70 kg
IS she taking any other medication ?
She is not taking any medication. She is healthy and strong. Due to cold she was taking some cop syrup Dilosin.

SInce the pregnancy test is negative, there is no reason to worry.
Sometimes, periods might be delayed to some common simple factors.
Stress, anxiety, tension, travelling, change of weather, late nights, irregular eating habits etc.
In her case, she is slightly overweight, and can work at weight loss.
Excess weight also can lead to delayed cycles.
I must also inform you that coitus interruptus ( not ejaculating after sex ) is a very dangerous method, and can easily lead to unintentional pregnancy, because even precum ( pre ejaculatory fluid ) can lead to pregnancy.
SO please use condoms / birth control pills in future.
And she can take progesterone pills for withdrawal bleed.
IF periods are delayed due to stress or mild hormonal imbalance, then she can take this medication to induce a period.
Tablets such as Meprate / Deviry are taken ( 10 mg thrice a day ) for 5 days, after stopping ,she would get her period within a week at the most.
The drugs are best taken after consulting a gynecologist and going for an ultrasound scan to rule out other abnormalities.
SO please get that done.
