Repeat pregnancy test after one week.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Health Care Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
An occasional irregular period due to hormonal variations is a normal occurrence. Since this is the first time you have missed your period, I suggest that you wait for a week and repeat the blood pregnancy test. If it is negative you need to consult doctor and take progesterone to start your period.
No further tests are needed at this stage.
If your periods continue to be irregular then you need further assessment.
It can be due to:
-stress (Physical or mental )
-sudden change in body weight
-thyroid disease
-Increase in prolactin hormone
-cyst in the ovary
I hope this is helpful. If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Do write to me after you repeat the pregnancy test next week.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

As the tests done are normal I do not see any major concern.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Since you're saying that in pregnancy your HCG gets detected late at around 8 weeks, I suggest you repeat pregnancy test after a week. ( I know you have had tubal ligation. But occasionally there can be procedure failures)..
If it is negative, you can take Progesterone 10 mg once daily in the night for 5 days to start periods
In all probability your periods will revert back to normal after that as your investigations have not found any cause.
Stress itself can delay periods. As the tests done are normal I do not see any major concern.
If you have further concerns, do write to me.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

If this is low density lipoprotein, may be it is high. So being repeated.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Extremely sorry, but I can read this short form as low density lipoprotein. Cannot think of any gynecology related word.
If this is low density lipoprotein, may be it is high and that is why he wants to confirm it.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
