What Do Dizziness And Flashes Of Light In Eyes Suggest?

Question: During the day after morning tea around 11:30 I was talking to a student when I felt the whole room spinning around me. I felt like might faint and had to sit down. Later after eating lunch around 1:30 I was reading when there was a sudden flash like from a camera. I looked up, but of course there was no camera around. I am 42, male, 167 cm and around 72 kg. Still have feeling of dizziness this evening.

Your symptoms are typical for inner ear problems, however stroke and other neurologic problems should be excluded first.

This is why I strongly recommend that you should go to ER to exclude any life threatening neurologic issues.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do :
- audiogram
- head ct scaner
