Elevated ESR and CRP indicate chronic systemic inflammatory process.
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
I did review your concern.
I also did a detailed review of all of your previous laboratory reports.
Your reports have been significant for blood in urine in form of isolated microscopic hematuria.
This is seen in bladder condition like stones, infections, unwanted growths or kidney conditions like IgA nephropathy, Alport syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis.
Apart from that , there have been occasional instances of mild neutrophilia with elevated wbc count suggestive of inflammatory/infectious process.
Now the recent elevation in CRP and ESR supports it.
With your stiff joints, headache and blood in urine I would recommend a workup for systemic inflammatory joint disease like rheumatoid arthritis.
1)As I could see the result for CCP is pending and it is a specific test for rheumatoid arthritis. Also ANA is being tested for autoimmune disorder.
2)i would also recommend a xray of your stiff joints with this.
3)Apart from this, In the near future if the blood in urine continues I would recommend a CT urography to rule out any local renal conditions.
I hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.
Wish you all the best
sincerely,
Dr Parth Desai
