Gynecomastia is proliferation male breast glandular tissues and once it occurs can be cured by surgery alone. This is a sort of irreversible process once the glandular tissues of the breast proliferates.
Hence it will not go withing a month or so as advised by your one of the Doctors you visited.
- As for prolactin: this is secreted by the anterior pituitary gland and can increase due to many reasons. Your creatinine levels are also raised.
Please give some additional information:
Is there increase in BUN, Urea levels too?
Have you taken any herbal or other supplements or medication recently?
Is the lump in one breast or both?
Ask the family if you had mumps in childhood?
Married? if yes, Children?

To consult a Nephrologist if creatinine is raised, get a full clinical evaluation about kidneys.

It started in one side and is only slightly tender on the other side now.
Im unsure if BUN, Urea levels have increased. The only areas of the test that wer above normal ranges where the prolactin and the creatine. e
