Paps smear is normal report it shows active menstruation

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I appreciate your concern
Your reports are suggestive of absence of any kind of cancer or malignancies
So you need not to be worried too much
Endometrial cells on paps smear is suggestive of active uterine lining which only shows about active menstruation

If you can upload me more information like your obstetric and menstrual history, I will be able to help you in best possible way

I would advise you for an ultrasound pelvis to look for uterus and subsequently cause for abnormal bleeding

Maintain good hygiene
Have multivitamins and calcium supplements

Hope this answers your question
please feel free to ask for more clarification I will gladly answer you
wishing you good health
Regards

Thank you for your response. I was just coming off my period couple days before the pap smear. I was on the depo for about 10 years until last February when i was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy. I am also on tamoxifen. What concerned me is when the nurse told me i am tooo young for endometrial cells to appear. Would the pap smear show atypical cells?
