What Do Episodes Of Vomiting And Stress Indicate?

Question: I have been having episodes of vomiting which have not been diagnosed. While putting in my symptoms I see one of the items is Coronary Artery Disease which my father of 56 just had a quadruple bi-pass after never been ill or hospitalized. My primary is at a lost and has admitted that what is going is beyond his scope of expertise. My internist hinted at Neurological and one of the many ER Dr I have seen recently said it could be gastroparesis. What specialist should I follow up with? I have become more than frustrated with getting no answers and believe part of the issue is the stress factor coming from this. This latest episode has left me really nervous about my health even though all blood work and scans come up with a picture of good health.
Brief Answer:
You need a gastroentrologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Recurrent vomiting needs evaluation by a gastroentrologist. He is a better guy to tell what more tests you require & what other things are to be done.
To rule out coronary disease, I'll recommend you for a test called stress echo which is a very good test to rule out possible coronary disease.
If that is negative, chances of having a coronary disease is very less.
Continue taking medications you are taking.
All the best.
Wishing you a healthy life.
Thanks & take care
