What Do Headaches, Nausea And Throat Pain Post Thoracic Aortic Dissection Indicate?
Question: My angiography of the chest indicates notable flaps to indicate thoracic aortic dissection. I haven't been feeling well lately, headaches, neck & throat pain and nausea. Do I need to worry? Brief history: I had a brain hemorrhage 01/13 then was diagnosed with carotid artery dissection, I had a stent put in my carotid 12/13. I also had brain surgery 04/15 for chiari malformation.
Brief Answer:
Doesn't seem to be an emergency related to aortic dissection
Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,
If dissection is a new finding, then you need a complete evaluation from surgeons, to discuss whether it should be operated and repaired.
Your complaints don't seem to be an emergency, but if you have severe chestpain, back pain or blood pressure drop, you need to call emergency.

Wishing you good health
